The American Legion presents Redhorse with Legacy Scholarship Award

For the second year, Redhorse is proud to support The American Legion, the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization.

The American Legion was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. The organization is committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in the community, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to fellow servicemembers and veterans.

This year, Redhorse received The American Legion Legacy Scholarship Award for its continued support of the scholarship. The Legacy Scholarship is a needs-based fund for the children of U.S. military members who died while on active duty on or after Sept. 11, 2001.

Redhorse’s donations also supported Gold Star families during the American Legion Riders veteran-focused events this Memorial Day weekend. The families accompany American Legion Riders during the event’s POW Ceremony, Rolling Thunder ride, Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial Candlelight Vigil, and Wreath-Laying Ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery.
