Michael Ulmer-Goodrich

VP of Accounting & Finance

Michael has more than 15 years of professional experience leading accounting and finance departments for government contractors. His experience includes accounting system implementations, process improvement, budgeting and forecasting, cost accounting, financial reporting, acquisition due diligence, and DCAA audit compliance.

Michael has extensive experience in system implementations, including Deltek Costpoint. He has led presentations at Deltek’s annual conference. With his leadership and guidance, Redhorse was a finalist for Deltek’s MVP Awards in 2018.

Michael has developed policies and procedures for accounting, contracts, operations and HR departments. The budgets that he has developed, maintained and reported on have ranged from less than $10 million to $100 million in revenue.

Prior to joining Redhorse, Michael held Controller positions at Sullivan International Group, MyOffice Inc., and AETC. He held the position of Director of Process Management & Control at Salient Federal, where he was able to revamp and streamline processes ranging from employee onboarding to commission structure. He has led several due diligence activities resulting in successful acquisitions.

Michael has a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting.
