VP of Business Development
Melissa is a senior executive with a 25-year track record of developing and leading high-performance teams to drive organizational excellence across service delivery, communication, business integration and growth. As Redhorse’s Vice President of Business Development, Melissa is responsible for engineering a business growth strategy that continues to position Redhorse as a market leader in meeting the mission goals of our clients while promoting exploration into emerging technology research, development and implementation. In addition to her business development and growth expertise, Melissa is a skilled account executive and program manager in both the defense and civilian sectors. She has successfully led a wide variety of programs providing solutions in identity and access management, cloud services, security architecture and engineering, IT infrastructure management and digital transformation.
Prior to joining Redhorse, Melissa was a vice president at CGI Federal, serving as architect of a business growth organization responsible for nearly $1 billion in awards, and providing account leadership for defense programs providing IT services to a wide variety of joint defense agencies. Before CGI, Melissa spent 19 years at SRA International with responsibility for accounts in both the defense and civilian sectors.
Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Dickinson College and a Master of Public Management in National Security from the University of Maryland, School of Public Policy.
