Redhorse to Support Kadena Air Base’s Energy Management Program

Redhorse was awarded a 1 year contract with the Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment (AFCEE) to provide onsite Resource Efficiency Management (REM) service at Kadena Air Base (AB) in Okinawa, Japan. Redhorse is providing comprehensive energy management services to reduce energy and water consumption, increase the use of renewable energy resources, and reduce operating costs. Services being provided include identification and implementation of cost saving initiatives in energy and water, analysis and correction of anomalies in facility energy use, and evaluation of technical and economic feasibility of energy and water conservation projects. Redhorse is also providing analysis and recommendations to improve existing building operations and performance, including retro-commissioning, operations and maintenance improvements, and training.
