Redhorse Awarded 5-year, $7 Million Contract by NAVFAC MIDLANT to Provide Energy Program Specialist Support Services at Navy and Marine Corps installations in the Mid-Atlantic region

Redhorse was awarded a 5-year, $7 million contract by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic (MIDLANT) to provide energy program specialists (EPS) to develop and implement sound, cost-effective energy and water projects and best management practices to enhance Navy and Marine Corps energy security, independence, and sustainability while cutting operating costs.

Redhorse is providing EPS support services at nine Navy installations throughout Navy Region Mid-Atlantic with the potential to expand services from the Great Lakes to New England and the Carolinas. Specific areas of support include:

* Performing facility energy and water audits

* Providing energy awareness program support

* Building monitor program support

* Conducting demand reduction studies

* Performing building energy condition assessments * Energy Savings Performance contract and Utility Energy Service contract support

* Rebate and grant support to help implement energy projects

* Conducting building controls surveys

* Providing overall installation energy program management
