Quality Assurance
Redhorse is committed to producing successful projects and high-quality deliverables for the Virtual SYSCOM. It is through dedication to the highest standards of quality that we establish our reputation as a firm and build client loyalty. High-quality technical performance will be maintained through adherence to our corporate quality management plan (QMP), which provides the QA and QC requirements our firm follows on all contracts. Redhorse works with clients in the early stages of each program and project to identify customer needs and expectations and to establish agreed-on quality requirements. We believe that it is essential to verify client needs, expectations, and quality requirements as work progresses and to adjust quickly to any changes in these factors. Redhorse incorporates quality into all work processes, beginning with development of the project work plan. Our philosophy parallels that of pollution prevention: it is much more efficient and effective to integrate quality control activities early on in the project planning phases than it is trying to fix problems just before products go out the door. This quality assurance/quality control process is also in place to help ensure the each Redhorse project meets cost and schedule requirements.
Quality Control Plan
Redhorse’s Quality Control Plan (QCP) for Seaport e, detailing the processes (practices, resources, and activities) and minimum controls used to ensure full compliance with all performance objectives and standards, will flow down from Redhorse’s existing quality program, as detailed in our Corporate QMP. Our quality program begins with a corporate commitment to hire professionals with personal dedication to delivering quality products and services. It includes systematic, planned efforts at all staff levels consisting of independent reviews, audits, and any corrective actions needed for all business and technical procedures and processes. The QMP is structured to help support these professionals achieve excellence in client service, while assuring our clients that Redhorse has a proven process in place to deliver products and services that meet or exceed our clients’ expectations.
QA processes that will be incorporated into the quality control plan include actions taken both during planning and implementing work. These practices include following standard operating procedures, using checklists and forms during auditing and data collection, and developing detailed outlines and standardized formats.
