National Marine Fisheries Services (NMFS), Solar Outdoor Lighting
Redhorse provided turnkey project development and implementation services for installation of solar outdoor lights in the parking lot area at the NMFS Pacific Grove laboratory in California. The project was implemented to improve nighttime visibility and safety in the parking lot at the laboratory and to support the NMFS renewable energy goals. Redhorse prepared a detailed description of the opportunities using solar lighting, including a project narrative, equipment specifications, project installation requirements, and estimated project costs and benefits. Based on this information, NMFS was able to secure project funding and direct Redhorse to implement the project. NMFS procured equipment manufactured by Solar Outdoor Lighting, and Redhorse completed design and installation of the solar lighting project.
