Gila River Indian Community - Potentially Responsible Party Search
Redhorse worked with the Gila River Indian Community (GRIC) Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), Lone Butte Industrial Park (LBIP), the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 9, the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), and other agencies to
complete an investigation and baseline report of potentially responsible parties (PRPs) that may have contributed to the tetrachloroethene (PCE) and trichloroethene (TCE) groundwater contamination that has been documented at the LBIP and vicinity. Redhorse and GRIC DEQ followed EPA’s PRP Search Manual (September 2009) guidance for gathering evidence to assign liability by matching reports of wastes found at the sites with parties that may have contributed wastes to the sites.
