U.S. Coast Guard, Air Station Clearwater, Energy Audit

Redhorse conducted an energy and water audit of the U.S. Coast Guard, Air Station Clearwater, to identify energy conservation measures and meet the requirements of the Energy Independence and Security Act.  Air Station Clearwater is the largest air station in the Coast Guard and includes a galley, medical clinic, exchange, housing office, administration building, hangars, and recreational facilities.  Redhorse conducted a comprehensive, American Society of Heating, Refrigerating & Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) Level II audit of buildings that included baselining energy consumption, a site visit, energy modeling and analysis, and development of energy conservation measures.  Energy conservation measures identified included lighting, HVAC, renewable energy, water, and building envelope opportunities.
