U.S. Army Advanced Metering Program in Alaska

Redhorse is working with Army and utility stakeholders to develop an advanced metering program for Army installations in Alaska.  We are providing technical and management support to assess options for organizing, analyzing, and reporting meter data generated by the 5,000-plus meters installed at Fort Richardson, Fort Wainwright, and Fort Greely, including meters to measure electricity, natural gas, steam, water, and wastewater.  Redhorse is helping to develop a Customer Information System (CIS) to collect, analyze, track, and display meter data collected from electric, gas, steam, water, and wastewater meters throughout the region.  The key focus of the strategy is to ensure that the system meets the Army’s reporting, billing, and data analysis needs and requirements.
