ADESA Climate Change Regulatory Analysis

Redhorse conducted a regulatory analysis of climate change legislation, including federal, state and regional initiatives.  The summary included a review of current and pending legislation and potential impact on ADESA facilities, operations, and compliance reporting requirements.  The summary included a review of pending climate change and clean energy legislation and mandatory GHG requirements.  We recommended that ADESA conduct a comprehensive analysis of its GHG emissions from stationary combustion sources, including any boilers, stationary engines, process heaters, combustion turbines, or other fuel combustion equipment.  We recommended this analysis to evaluate whether the total calculated emissions at each ADESA facility meet the 25,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) per year reporting requirement.
