Hawthorne Army Depot - Human Health and Ecological Risk Assessment
Redhorse is finalizing a human health and ecological risk assessment for disposal of unstable and obsolete munitions at the Hawthorne Army Depot. The work involves assessing the transport and fate of pollutants from atmospheric dispersion and deposition of the byproducts of ordnance disposal.The results of this analysis are being used to assess the human health and ecological risk of inhalation, ingestion, and absorption pathways in the surrounding area based on actual or probable land use, human activities, and ecological systems.
