Denison Mines (USA) Corp. - Environmental Compliance & Permitting Support
Redhorse conducted detailed technical analysis associated with air permitting and compliance requirements at nine existing or proposed Denison uranium mines for compliance with Clean Air Act (CAA) requirements.We addressed regulatory requirements with several agencies, including the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, the Utah Department of Environmental Quality, the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Regions 8 and 9.As part of our support, Redhorse provided technical analysis to ensure compliance with CAA requirements, including New Source Performance Standards (NSPS), National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAPs), Best Available Control Technology, National Ambient Air Quality Standards, Prevention of Significant Deterioration increments, and other air quality-related values.Furthermore, we supported development of a comprehensive plan to control emissions of radiological materials.
