Big Pine Paiute Tribe - Emissions Inventory Update & Air Quality Assessment

 Redhorse worked with the Big Pine Paiute Tribe (BPPT), neighboring tribes, the Great Basin Unified Air Pollution Control District (GBUAPCD), CalTrans, the California Air Resources Board (ARB), and other agencies to prepare a comprehensive air pollution emissions inventory update and air quality assessment for the reservation and surrounding area in eastern California (including Owens Dry Lake). Redhorse helped BPPT develop a strategic air monitoring plan and to establish an ongoing emissions inventory update process. We trained BPPT staff on the components of emissions inventories, understanding the process for updating emissions annually, and comparing emissions calculations with ambient monitoring data.
